TECHNOLOGY
The Next Wave of Opportunities
This program will cover the range of innovative business
opportunities based on entertaining consumers, enabled by
the emergence of advanced technologies. New platforms for
content production, delivery, searching, presentation and
storage will all have a profound impact on existing large
media strongholds, the consumer electronics and content-distribution
vendors, as well as opening possibilities for entrants from
the entrepreneurial world.
This event will consider three new companies, each addressing
a different aspect of our entertainment lives: in your home,
your car, and in public, in this case, your neighborhood movie
theater. Their business models and approaches will be critiqued
by experts in these fields.
