In record time, YouTube and MySpace climbed to 100 million users, yielding Billion Dollar exits. Although lacking notable technological innovation, they are poster children for how technology is changing an industry. As sources of content and channels of distribution change and keep changing, the "Big Guys" have had to
respond - whether with initiatives good and bad, nimble synergies, or lawsuits. In this context, Content still remains King. So, can major players snag YouTube successes and turn them into a revenue stream? How does this all play into a spectrum of outlets ranging from handheld devices to movie theaters? Within this evolving cocoon do we see new venture opportunities in distribution, monetization and security, for example, that connect key pieces of infrastructure or add value to otherwise commodity offerings? Join us as our speakers discuss the new technologies impacting the entertainment landscape to better understand where and how a good entertainment idea with effective execution can lead to success.
